A group of partners are tinkering with expansion plans as they open an East Downtown bar and private events space inside a new development.
Chapman & Kirby, at 2118 Lamar St., is expected to open June 1 inside as the first tenant in Houston-based developer Ancorian’s East Village project. Partners Mazen Baltagi, Juan Cao, Bien Tran and Tim Soufan were behind the opening.
