Developer gets OK for River Oaks-area condo variance on second try

After a rejection in 2015, a variance request for a condominium project in the River Oaks area received approval from Houston’s planning commission.

The Houston Chronicle reports that Revere Park at River Oaks won its bid to build up to 4 and 5 feet from the property line rather than the required 10 feet. The commission approved the request unanimously despite some nearby residents’ opposition, per the Chronicle.
