Texas A&M University System looking for developer to build data center aimed at Houston businesses

An old World War II air force base northwest of Houston may be the site of a new data center that would cater to Bayou City businesses.

Texas A&M University System is looking for developers to build the about 30-acre data center on its 2,000-acre RELLIS campus, according to a release. The plans come after the University of Texas recently canceled plans for its data science campus in the Houston area.
