A Houston-based solar power company, Sunnova Energy Corp., is nearing $1 billion raised in 2017 so far after a round of debt funding.
The company announced June 13 that it closed the latest funding round with New York-based CIT Group and other investors for $140 million. That, combined with the $775 million it had raised over prior deals earlier in the year, brings its total to $915 million, the company said in a press release.
