Longtime Houston theater company creates executive director role

A.D. Players, a 50-year-old Houston theater company, has created a new leadership role on the heels of a major move.

Jake Speck has been hired to fill the new executive director role beginning in August. Speck has a prolific performance career and has served as president and managing director of a regional theater company in Tennessee for more than six years.
