Lone Houston player on Forbes’ list of world’s highest-paid athletes is No. 1 in Texas

When it comes to yearly earnings, Houston Rockets star James Harden outpaces all athletes in the Bayou City — and in Texas.

Harden earned $46.6 million in the past year, according to Forbes’ “The World’s Highest-Paid Athletes” list. That was good for ninth-best among all athletes on Earth.
