Amazon.com Inc. (Nasdaq: AMZN) has increased the number of jobs it expects to create at its first Houston fulfillment center, according to multiple reports.
The Seattle-based company now plans to hire 2,500 people to staff the facility in northwest Houston’s Pinto Business Park, the Houston Chronicle, KPRC Click2Houston and others report. That’s up from the 1,000 full-time positions Amazon originally said it would create at that facility.
