Houston-based W&T Offshore Inc. (NYSE: WTI) announced April 18 that its general counsel has retired.
The news comes a little over a month after the company named a new president.
Thomas Getten retired from the positions of vice president, general counsel and secretary, and W&T named Shahid Ghauri to succeed him. Getten was 69 as of Feb. 23, according to the company’s 2016 annual report filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
