Houston-based wireless infrastructure co. makes $600M acquisition

Crown Castle International Corp. (NYSE: CCI) is scooping up another fiber services provider.

Houston-based Crown Castle plans to buy Los Angeles-based Wilcon Holdings LLC from North Carolina-based Pamlico Capital and other unit holders for $600 million. The deal is expected to close in the third quarter of 2017.
